Ratsastus - ei pelkureille

Kaikki ratsastusta harrastavat- (ja harrastaneet) tietävät, että aina ei onnistu, vaan hevosten kanssa sattuu ja tapahtuu. Ihmiset lukevat lehdistä ratsastusonnettomuuksista ja eivät päästä lapsiaan ratsastamaan. Hevoset voivat aina pelästyä jotain ja aiheuttaa tahtomattaan onnettomuuden ratsastajan tippuessa

  

Suuri osa hevosonnettomuuksista tapahtuu esteillä, kun hevonen esim. kieltää esteen eli pysähtyy juuri ennen estettä, ja usein ratsastaja tippuu esteen toiselle puolelle. Tottakai on myös itsepäisiä poneja, shettiksiä esim. jotka itsepäisyyttään pukittelevat, mutta usein unohdetaan, varsinkin jos poni on yleensäkin pukitteleva ja itsepäinen, että sitä voi sattua tai se voi olla jollain tapaa sairas. 

 

Muistan yhden ponin ensimmäiseltä tallilta, jossa kävin, se ei pukitellut, mutta se kaahasi. Muistan kun ratsastuksenopettajani naureskeli toiselle mitä tapahtuisi, jos kys. ponille otettaisiin raippa. Noin vuoden päästä vaihdoin toiselle tallille, ja "kaahariponi" oli myytävänä ja tuli nykyiselle tallilleni siksi aikaa, kunnes uusi koti löydettäisiin, uudella tallilla huomattiin, että ponin silloinen satula oli aivan liian pieni, ja se keräsi nestettä ponin lapaan, jonka vuoksi poni ns. "juoksi kipua karkuun". Poni löysi pian uuden omistajan, ja sai tallipaikan ratsastuskoululta, jolla kävin. Nykyään näen ponia tallilla melkein joka viikko, ja poni on tosi rento, mutta silti reipas. :)

Novascotiannoutajat

Novascotiannoutaja eli tolleri on kanadalainen metsästys- ja seurakoira. Novascotiannoutajat ilmestyivät Suomeen vuonna 1985.

Novascotiannoutaja on pienin noutajista. Novascotiannoutaja on keskikokoinen, vahvaluustoinen, tiivis ja lihaksikas koira. Sen turkki on kaksinkertainen ja vettä hylkivä. Häntä on runsas ja kaartuu selän ylle koiran ollessa valpas. Novascotiannoutajan korkeus on nartuilla 45–48 ja uroksilla 48-51 cm ja paino 16–23 kg. Nartut ovat yleensä uroksia matalampia ja kevyempiä. Koiran tassu on muiden noutajakoirarotujen tavoin räpylämäinen mikä helpottaa uimista.

Novascotiannoutaja eli tolleri on luonteeltaan lempeä ja aktiivinen. Se on tehokas ja vilkas koira, joka sopii metsästyksen lisäksi moneen muuhunkin harrastukseen, kuten mejään, tokoon, agilityyn tai vesipelastukseen.

Titanic (movie 1997)

Titanic is a 1997 American epic romance and disaster film directed, written, co-produced, and co-edited by James Cameron. The movie stars Leonardo DiCaprio as Jack Dawson and Kate Winslet as Rose DeWitt Bukater. They are members of different social classes who fall in love aboard the ship.

In 1996, treasure hunter Brock Lovett and his team explore the wreck of the RMS Titanic, searching for a necklace called the Heart of the Ocean.

I've seen the movie and it's really sad.. But the ending is happy.

Cameron wanted to push back the boundary of special effects with his film, and enlisted Digital Domain to continue the developments in digital technology which the director pioneered while working on The Abyss and Terminator 2: Judgment Day. James Horner additionally wrote the song "My Heart Will Go On" in secret with Will Jennings because Cameron did not want any songs with singing in the film. Céline Dion agreed to record a demo with the persuasion of her husband René Angélil.

The film got mostly positive reviews from film critics. When regarding the film's overall design, Roger Ebert stated, "It is flawlessly crafted, intelligently constructed, strongly acted, and spellbinding... Movies like this are not merely difficult to make at all, but almost impossible to make well.".

Born: August 30, 1972

Cameron is an American actress and former model. 
She became famous during the 1990s with roles in the movies The Mask, My Best Friend's Wedding, and There's Something About Mary. I've seen There's Something in Mary and it's good. I'ts quite funny too.
Other movie credits include Charlie's Angels, and voicing Princess Fiona in the Shrek series.

Track & Field

Track and field is a sport based around the activities of running, jumping and throwing.

The running events are categorised as sprints, middle and long-distance events, relays, and hurdling.

Jumping events include long jump, triple jump, high jump and pole vault.

 Throwing events include shot put, javelin, discus and hammer.

There are also "combined events" heptathlon and decathlon.
There are sprint hurdle races and long hurdle races. The standard sprint hurdle race is 110 meters for men and 100 meters for women. The standard long hurdle race is 400 meters for both men and women. Each of these races is run over ten hurdles and they are all Olympic events.I've done track and field for two years and my favourite event is the hurdles.

 Lavagirl in 3-D.

Taylor Lautner got his huge break when he was cast as Jacob Black in The Twilight Saga film series. I've seen them all so far. They are good, but when you've read the book the movie goes too fast.

Maximilian Paul Diarmuid Irons

Uusi, nykyaikaisempi versio Punahilkasta, tuli ensi-iltaan Huhtikuussa. Yksi elokuvan päähenkilöistä Max Irons oli paras :)

 

Max Irons on 17 Lokakuuta 1985 syntynyt näyttelijä ja malli, joka on tehnyt mallin töitä Burberrylle ja Mangolle. Max on näytellyt mm. Red Riding Hoodissa ja The Runawayssa. Max on näyttelijöiden Sinéad Cusack ja Jeremy Irons poika. Olin katsomassa Leonardo DiCaprion tuottaman elokuvan Red Riding Hoodin, jossa Max näytteli Henryä ja tykkäsin tosi paljon ja mielestäni Henryn ja Valerien (Amanda Seyfried) olisi pitänyt olla pari ! ;)
